Wotakoi Season 2: The series also known as Wotaku ni koi Wa Muzukashii in Japanese is a romantic or comedy anime series. It began serialization in 2014 and hasn’t stopped winning our hearts yet. The 10th volume has already been confirmed for 2021. Well, the 11-episode-long anime adaptation only covered the first 4 books of its web manga.
The eleven-part anime series Wotakoi: no Cheats for Love which ran on Japanese TV in the spring of 2018, was directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike, who also wrote the script in studio A-1 Pictures (“Sword Art Online: Progressive Movie 86 Anime”). Takahiro Yasuda contributed to the design of the characters, while Akimitsu Honma composed the music.

WOTAKOI SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE
Unfortunately, there is no official announcement of the anime’s second installment. The series is available on Amazon Prime and has an exceptional rating after 451 reviews, giving it a 4.8 out of 5. According to Crunchyroll, over 10 million copies have been published both physically and digitally as of August 2020.
If a second season does get announced, It won’t come as a surprise. However, given the pandemic and the time it takes to make anime, we might have to wait another year or two before seeing a on-screen.
A-1 Pictures has not officially confirmed Season 2, and It remains to be seen whether Season 2 is made at all. The fact that new volumes of the manga series are still being published increases the chance of a season 2 materializing. Our best guess is that Wotakoi Season 2 release date could fall sometime in 2023.

There has been no word on whether Wotakoi will get an English dub anytime soon. Because Amazon has exclusive distribution rights in the US, they would have the final say on whether or not this occurred.
