The Idaten Deities Only Peace is yet to be officially renewed for season 2, but if it does get a new installment. Season 1 of the series got released on July 23, 2021, on FujiTV. The anime covered 11 episodes before bringing it to an end on October 1, 2021.
MAPPA and other production teams have not yet officially confirmed the renewal of the anime series. Its ratings have dramatically improved throughout its first 11 episodes. So, there is a high opportunity for renewal.
We would not see any information until late 2023. Fortunately, the cliffhanger ending guarantees fans that the anime will return, perhaps, once there is enough source material for a new season. Considering all the factors, we expect that the series will release sometime in 2024.
