Kaichou Wa Maid Sama is the Japanese Tittle that means “The Class President is a Maid”. Maid Sama 2 is something that triggers serotonin in rom-com fanatics. The manga of Maid Sama had come to an end in 2013. Fans are extremely eager to hear news on Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Season 2 and Will it Happen?

Maid Sama is not only popular for its interesting plotline but the series is entertaining. In fact, the series has a lot of meme-worthy scenes that got fans hooked. Viewers are also excited with the characters as Usui & Misaki have complex personalities. Noth has a side that will make fans relate to them.

As mentioned, the anime came out in 2010, by which point, there were 9 collected volumes of the manga. When the manga finally ended, there were 9 more volumes left, but none of these latter stories were ever adapted. In fact, the anime only adapted until about the 32nd chapter of the manga.

Unfortunately, there’s been no official word on whether or not J.C. Staff will ever continue the Maid Sama! anime and adapt the rest of the source material. This isn’t helped by the fact that the anime series is now over ten years old, having completed its run in September 2010. While it’s not uncommon for anime to receive further seasons after a long hiatus, a break of a decade’s length is a stretch even for this trend. Moreover, the manga itself is ended in 2013, so while the anime is still well-regarded among fans, it and the manga are far from being a huge presence in current otaku culture.

The show’s first and so far only season can be streamed on both Hulu and Netflix, which is why the demand for a second season and the fanbase of the show is general still exists. A more likely situation would be that the anime is rebooted wholesale like Fruits Basket, starting from scratch with more modern animation to adapt entirely of the manga. Either way, there’s currently nothing to suggest that Maid Sama!’s anime will be continuing anytime soon.

Despite having plenty of manga left to adapt, the animation studio J.C. Staff has not yet announced anything regarding a Maid Sama Season 2. the first 26-episode season came out in 2010, so it’s now been over a decade of waiting for new content. Again another potential perfect anime season has gone. But all hope isn’t lost until the production officially confirms that won’t be a renewal of the Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Season 2.

That’s not the most promising timeline. Reviving a decade-old anime seems unlikely, but the series has recently gained new life on Netflix, so anything’s possible. But they should not expect it to release before 2022. We still have some hope regarding season 2 because the studio even might review their decision. Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Season 2 will release in 2022 (early).

Since “Maid Sama!” has not yet been greenlit for a second season, there is no official confirmation of who would be in the cast. Currently, “Maid Sama!” is available on Netflix both in the original Japanese (with English Subtitles) and dubbed in English, so it’s got double the voice talent to wrangle for a revival.

In Japanese, Ayumi Fujimura and Nobuhiko Okamoto star as Misaki and Usui, respectively. Both have lent their voices to many other projects: Fans might recognize Fujimura’s voice as Azaka Kokutou in “Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners,” For example, or remember Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugou in “My Hero Academia:>

The two main leading characters namely Misaki Ayuzawa and Takumi Usui. they play an integral role in season 1 of the series, they are being assumed to be a part of season 2 of Kaichou Wa Maid Sama as Well. Also, assumptions are being made that might be some add one to the list of characters.

Ayuzawa Misaki

Usui Takumi

While the anime doesn’t end on a cliffhanger – Misaki finally admits her feelings for Usui, and the pair of them get together as a couple – the manga actually takes the story quite a bit further than this. The anime only goes up to Chapter 32 of the manga, while there are 85 chapters in total. So while there has been no news yet about a “Maid Sama!” Season 2, they would have plenty of source material to pull from.

In the manga, after Misaki and Usui become a couple, the story delves further into Usui’s family drama. All that strife drives a wedge between the new couple, as his family doesn’t want him to date someone supposedly below his social standing. However, despite Usui’s family forcing him to transfer schools, he and Misaki do end up getting married at the very end of the manga’s story – ten years after high school graduation. Season 2 of “Maid Sama!” would probably use this same storyline, but fans can read it in the meantime if they don’t want to wait.

There is no official announcement is yet received from the makers. Hence, the trailer is also not yet available to watch on Youtube. So, You can see some fan-made trailers & teasers as well as clips available to watch on Youtube.

The English Dubbed and subbed version of the first season of Maid Sama can be found on Hulu. You can also stream it on Amazon Prime, Netflix with its original Japanese audio and English subtitles.

The streaming site Netflix has become an anime hub, as it continues to try and stand out in the now-crowded business of streaming. Netflix has created many of their own original anime series, so there’s always the possibility that if “Maid Sama” picks up enough viewers, the streamer will consider bringing it back for a second season.

I heard a lot of good stuff about it, so it will be interesting to see how good it will be. But if you can’t wait any longer, and you want to learn what happens next after the anime in the story, read the light novel.
