Baka and Test, or Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, is an anime adaptation based on the light novel of the same name. The show is written by Kenji Inoue (Grand Blue) and illustrated by Yui Haga. Enterbrain first published the light novel in 2007, with a total of 18 volumes. They also released three manga adaptations, published under Famitsu Comic Clear and Shounen Ace.
Season 1 aired between January 7 and March 31, listed with 13 Episodes. We then got another season in 2011, also listed with 13 Episodes. The sequel is called Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni.
The fans have loved the show, whereas the critics find Baka and Test hilarious. The two seasons of this lovely anime have been rated a good 7.2 out of ten on IMDb and a 7.5 out of ten on MyAnimelist.
This show has been an amazing fantasy series till now, but after the release of the second installment, the makers went all shut on renewal of the show for a season 2.
